Becca and Peter | Indianapolis Library Wedding | Downtown Wedding
Oh! Where to begin when reflecting on Becca’s and Peter’s wedding day? I’m not really sure. What I am sure about, however, is how wonderfully suited these two are for each other! They are both goofy, spunky, full of life, and full of love for God. Their wedding was such a blessing for me to be at and experience. Thank you, Becca and Peter, for allowing me to be a part of your wedding. You are both a joy to be around. My God bless the two of you, your marriage, and your lives together!
P.S. Be sure to check out the Q&A with the bride and groom at the end of the images.

Q&A with Becca and Peter
Wedding Overview from their perspective: The wedding day began with sleeping in! The girls all spent the night together and welcomed wedding day with brunch, mimosas, and an easy morning. Candice Moran, Becca’s cousin, came to the house late that morning to make Becca and Dawn’s hair look gorgeous, hang out, and bring even more excitement to the morning. The girls all slowly got ready, a very non-rushed morning, which was such a blessing. Anya and Pete came to the house to add to the fun, and to make us all look beautiful in those pictures! Becca climbed into her dress twice that day, the first time at home for the first look with her Dad, which was incredibly special. Especially when her Mom cried so unexpectedly, it was a moment. After the first look, it was on to the Library for pictures and Peter’s first look, which was incredibly special and beautiful. Fun followed with fun and pictures with the wedding party, then family pictures with both sides of the family. From there, it was time to go down the aisle! Walking down the aisle, an incredibly personal ceremony with Eric that included congregational singing and communion for the bride and groom. Feeling Good heralded the end of the ceremony, and it was on to more pictures and the reception! First dance, toasts, cake cutting, father daughter dance, and the bouquet toss starting the reception off, and from there it was dancing and fun until the sparkler sendoff!
Favorite Moment: PETER: Peter’s favorite part of the wedding was not messing up the first dance! BECCA: Becca’s favorite part of the wedding was walking down the aisle to Peter and having everything else melt away. BOTH OF US: We both loved Eric’s charge and communion together with the congregational song.
Funniest Moment: The funniest part of our day was our impromptu dance to “Let It Go,” started by the girls, and finished by us!
Advice for future brides and grooms: PETER: Don’t pick a crazy bride! Support and help where you can, but a hug and “it’s ok” sometimes helps more. BECCA: By all means, plan things out, make sure it’s the day you want and lean on the people who are willing to help you. But be sure to plan for something to go wrong, to not be destroyed by it, and for someone else to be the “go-to” person on the wedding day. The only thing you should be responsible for is keeping track of your bouquet, your groom, and feeling beautiful. Plan, but let it go on the day and have FUN. It’s only going to happen once. Enjoy every moment, and be sure to plan a few minutes to soak it all in. BOTH OF US: Give yourself enough time for everything. Don’t rush yourselves, enjoy the day. Don’t underestimate the value of sitting with your guys or girls and drinking a beer or a mimosa.
