Indianapolis Zoobilation 2012

Being relatively new to Indianapolis, when I was asked to help photograph this year’s Indianapolis Zoobilation 2012 — The Grand Voyage by Brian Diehl, I wasn’t sure what I was in for.

Asking around, it was clear that this is one of Indy’s favorite events–being well supported (with around 4,500 people in attendance–according to the Indy Star–and $1.3 million in donations–according to the Zoobilation website) and highly praised by past patrons. So, needless to say, I was excited to attend!  After 6 hours of walking around the zoo in my tallest wedge heels and taking photographs of countless attendees decked to the Nines, it was my turn to concur that everyone was right–The Indianapolis Zoobilation is not an event to be missed!
