Fountain Square Theatre Wedding | Old Hollywood Style

AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!  That is how I feel about Chelsea’s and Kyle’s Fountain Square Theatre Wedding. Spectacular. Wonderful. Precious. Not enough adjectives to describe how magnificently beautiful it was. 🙂

From the very first moment Chelsea and Kyle saw each other on a rooftop overlooking the beautiful Indianapolis skyline, it was evident that nothing else mattered.  It was their wedding day, and they were going to enjoy every minute of it.  From the generous chauffeuring by Mike in his 1930’s Cadillac to the cute pink and black umbrellas to the Red Carpet Paparazzi entrance, everything was just beautiful! Even Hurricane Isaac couldn’t thwart the day’s plans.

Thank you very much, Chelsea and Kyle, for letting me be a part of your most precious day.  You two have hearts of gold and smiles that extend from ear to ear. Please enjoy!!

P.S. I had a really hard time paring down this wedding. It was just too beautiful!  So hang in there. This might just be a long post.  Also, be sure to check out Chelsea and Kyle’s answers to my Q&As after the photographs.

A Little Q&A with Chelsea and Kyle:

Anya: What was the best part about your wedding day?

Chelsea and Kyle:  Dancing with our friends and family

Anya: Was there a moment that you’ll never forget?

Chelsea and Kyle: When we said “I do!”

Anya: Do you have a tip for future brides and grooms with regards to their wedding day?

Chelsea and Kyle: Plan as much as you can so when your big day comes, you can enjoy it 🙂

Anya: Where did you go on your honeymoon and what was your favorite memory?

Chelsea and Kyle: We took an extended weekend “honeymoon” to a little town on the Ohio River in Augusta, Kentucky. We hope to take a “full-length” honeymoon in December to someplace warm!  Our favorite moment was riding bikes around the cute little town and having time together, uninterrupted, just the two of us.

Our Wedding: by Chelsea & Kyle

When I was younger, I was never the girl who dreamed of my “perfect”wedding day. Yes, I had visions of myself all grown up in a flowing white gown, dancing around a room, with a huge smile on my face, but that’s all I could conjure in my mind. My “dream wedding” just didn’t exist and the concept of wedding planning did not excite me at all. But the day my prince charming proposed, that all changed.

From the moment we had our ‘first look’, my fairytale wedding unfolded. At that moment, I knew everything was going to be perfect because I was with the man of my dreams. From taking pictures with our wedding party around town, to saying “I do!” during our traditional Catholic wedding ceremony, it proved to be a very special day for us both. The earlier part of the day had an “old Hollywood” theme, complete with vintage cars and classic style. After entering under a lit marquis bearing our names at our reception venue, an old theatre building, the tone suddenly switched to “new Hollywood.” It was a night starring us and our love story. We had a red carpet entrance and a welcoming crowd of family and friends.  Meaningful traditions took place as words were shared and tears were shed. As the night progressed, the dance floor was hopping, spirits were high, and love was everywhere. We capped off the night with a Duck Pin Bowling after-party—what a site to see people bowling in formal attire! Everyone had a great time, but the most important thing to us was that we were MARRIED!

P.S. Forgive the state of my hair. It was wet and windy out… I promise. My hair looked cute when I did it that morning. 🙂

Anya, the photos are wonderful. Your artful eye behind the camera captured the spirit of the day. The entire day and evening were romantic and full of love. Despite the threat of Hurricane Issac, (with some answered prayers), you captured the beauty and love of this special day for Chelsea and Kyle. Thank You!
Chelsea and Kyle, the two of you could make any day or event fun and cheerful. Your wedding was beautiful just like you. The reception was just tooooo much fun! ~Mommy love~
